ETFE (Ethylene tetrafluoroethylene) is a fluorocarbon-based polymer ( fluoropolymer) Trade name "Tefzel". It was designed to have high corrosion resistance and strength over a wide temperature range. In addition it has a high melting temperature and does not emit toxic fumes when ignited.
